THE DESTINY OF ADAM
Part 1
INTRODUCTION
So also it is written, "The first man, Adam, became a living soul." The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. The first man is from the earth, earthy; the second man is from heaven. As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. And just as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Now I say this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.
1 Cor. 15:45-50.The World Book Dictionary defines LIFE as follows; 1. living; being alive; quality that people, animal and plants have and that rocks, dirt and metals lack. Life is shown by growing and producing. 2. The time of being alive; the existence of an individual.
Most people would describe "this definition", very closely; We are born, we grow and produce, then we die. Again, we learn all that we need to learn, to grow and produce all that we need or desire to have, while we are alive, then we die. Clear cut and final. Never, but only in a passing thought, could there be such a thing as life after death. Yet, that is not so with the church frequenter. The people who go to church do have a knowledge of life after death. They know that God wants to fellowship with His people and have them live with Him in heaven. But, beyond that, at this point, most believers in life after death, with God in heaven, go off in many different directions. Whether, in fact, many of these make it into heaven would be questionable. The main reason that this condition exists is due to the absence of the teaching of foundational truths. Churches of today compromise all to often. Once is to much. The churches of today have developed a nice little niche, a very comfortable sense of assurance. A sense of assurance that they have got the system down pat and know exactly how to maintain a smooth running operation suitable for whoever may come. If a church member raises a question concerning foundational truths, all to often they are led down an incorrect path, because to be forthright could very well disrupt their operation. Note, their operation. One might ask, why would church leadership not be forthright with their people? The fact is that in most instances it is not intentional or they did not initially start out to be intentional. But, what has happened is that the authority given by Jesus Christ has been lost through the years.
The Destiny of Adam will not and does not expound upon particular errors of the churches. It is not a writing of put-downs for the sake of put-downs. It does deal with the negative aspects of the church and it's leaders, but brings to conclusion a positive awareness that is about to, if not already happening, expose the final church of Jesus Christ. THE FINAL CHURCH IS CHRIST'S BRIDE. THE FINAL CHURCH IS THE FIRST CHURCH. THE FIRST CHURCH IS THE ONLY CHURCH. THE ONLY CHURCH IS THE LAST CHURCH. THE LAST CHURCH IS THE FINAL CHURCH. THE FINAL CHURCH IS THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.
Through all the problems of the church, God has remained faithful. His Son has continued to build His church in spite of its intellectuals, and of its failure to adhere to the authority that He offered and gave to it. But, the church of Jesus Christ is not what all to many people perceive it to be.
There are many of you, that as you continue reading, will identify the movement and recognize that yes, He's Alive, and that through all your doubting it is being confirmed to you, that you are right in the middle of God's will. You know that you know, that all your suffering, and persistence and continued faith is culminating in the awareness that God's hand has been upon you all the while, and what He has produced in you is now being called into action. You know that it is time to ascend the mountain.
"Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the ALPHA and the OMEGA, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city." Rev. 22:12-14.
